Rooted in the shared themes of family, memory and heritage, the collection draws from the visual and emotional landscape of the film to create a series of wearable keepsakes. Through resist-dye patterns inspired by traditional African textile techniques, and graphics derived from iconic stills from the film, the collection explores the enduring connections between people, place and identity.

Inspired by the aesthetics of African portrait cloth, each piece transforms a cinematic moment into a living archive—honouring the themes of love, belonging and nationhood that sit at the heart of both My Father’s Shadow and THIS IS US.
