Featuring a boxy silhouette and hand-embroidered checkerboard neckline reminiscent of regal Agbada drapes, the piece is crafted in our signature indigo-dyed Funtua cotton—hand-dyed by artisans at the historic Kofar Mata dye pits in Kano. Merging heritage with play, the Danshiki also takes cues from retro sportswear, with bold, customizable patches inspired by 90s-era logos, from a Fanta-hued “Funtua” tag to a fist-pump icon and a cheeky badge that proudly declares, “In my village dem dey hail me.” Offered in both tee and crop versions, the garment lets wearers tell their own story with pride and flair.
