MFS x TIU Trousers

THIS IS US joins forces with the creators of the critically acclaimed film My Father’s Shadow for a limited-edition capsule collection celebrating the film’s return to Nigerian cinemas.

Drawing from the visual and emotional landscape of the film, the trousers reimagines the classic Baggy Cargo Trousers through the lens of memory, heritage and family. Crafted from indigo-dyed fabric featuring resist-dye motifs reminiscent of traditional African textile techniques, the design references the enduring presence of the father figure at the heart of the story.

In the new all-over print sits a screen-printed still from the film—an iconic image of father and sons framed within the signature THIS IS US oval mark. Inspired by the aesthetics of African portrait cloth, the graphic transforms a cinematic moment into a wearable keepsake, honouring the themes of love, belonging and nationhood that define the film.
