INTRODUCING THE COTTON JERSEY TEE
Our THIS IS US journey started with Funtua cotton. Unable to find a knitted version, we set out to create a classic Nigerian tee, inspired by the loose danshiki silhouette made from woven Funtua cotton.
Today, eight years later, we’re excited to present a knitted jersey tee—our take on the ubiquitous classic tee. Loose like our woven Funtua tee but finished with a classic collar, this new Funtua tee is set to become a wardrobe staple.

Our Ivory Cotton Jersey Tee is crafted from our local rain-fed Funtua cotton, grown in the fields of Katsina, Northern Nigeria. Designed, knitted, and sewn in Lagos, each tee embodies our commitment to local craftsmanship and conscious design.
Cut in a relaxed, drop-shoulder silhouette, this mid-weight 230gsm jersey offers a soft hand feel and effortless drape. The fabric is preshrunk, ensuring a perfect fit from the first wear. Undyed and naturally ivory, it celebrates cotton in its purest form — simple, breathable, and timeless.
