Shorts - Woven Stripes

The Shorts are an elevated version of our classic Uniform Wear shorts, with a longer length and relaxed fit that fits slimmer than the Drawstring Shorts.

The Woven Shorts are crafted with hand woven indigo dyed fabric. The yarns are first dyed at the Kofar Mata dye pits to achieve the exact shades required. These are then transported to the master weavers in Maitsidau villages, where they are handwoven into fabric. The striped patterns on the Woven Stripes colour way are inspired by traditional Hausa weaving designs.

Made with 100% Cotton from Funtua, Katsina. Hand dyed at the ancient Kofar Mata dye pits and Hand Woven in Maitsidau village, Kano State- all within a 50km radius.
